Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Chandigarh - Shimla - Narkanda

After you arrive at the Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, our representative will drive you to Narkanda (8 hours). The journey begins here and you get to visit some beautiful villages along the way such as Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda, and the Apple orchards around the region. Upon reaching, check into your hotel in Narkanda and enjoy an overnight stay.

Narkanda To Sarahan

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Later, check out of the hotel and proceed with a scenic drive to Sarahan. The snow-covered peak of Shrikhand Mahadev blesses the town with its mighty divine presence. Next, pay a visit to Sarahan's famous tourist landmark, the Bhima Kali temple, one of 51 Shakti Peethas. Stay at the hotel in Sarahan for dinner and overnight stay.

Sarahan to Sangla (92 km/ 4 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, continue with a drive through the mountains to Sangla. On arrival in Sangla, check-in camp/hotel. Freshen up and later visit the remote villages of Rackcham and Chitkul. Untouched and unexplored, both these locales are, in essence, the bliss of the Himalayas. These are places closest to the border. With picture-perfect views, it is truly a remarkable sight warming your heart. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel in sangla valley .

Sangla Chitkul Rakcham Kalpa

After breakfast first visit kamru fort ,batseri village , baspa river further we shall drive to the beautiful town of Kalpa via Rekong Peo, (approx. 51 kms/ 3 hours’ drive) the district headquarters. One can enjoy spectacular views of the sacred Kinner Kailash Peak, one of the most beautiful peaks in the Himalayas on the way. We Shall Visit the Beautiful Rakcham Village While Traveling from Sangla to Chitkul You Will Sure Come Across this Breathtaking Valley On the Banks of River Baspa Comfortably Hidden Away from the Modern World . visit chitkul mata temple. kagyupa temple Situated at the height of 2758 m above the sea level and 110 km from Sarahan, Kalpa is a beautiful and main village of Kinnaur. Across the river faces the majestic mountains of the Kinner Kailash range. These are spectacular sights early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and golden light.Continue our journey towards Kalpa.overnight stay at kalpa.

Day 5

Kalpa – Khab – Nako Lake – Gue- Tabo- kaza

Wake up to the morning view in the town of Kalpa. Today we will head towards Tabo via Nako village. We will stop at Nako village where you can see the famous Nako lake. After a short halt in Nako village head towards Tabo via Gue Village. The Gue village is famous for the Gue mummy which is a naturally mummified body of a Budhist Monk in a meditating position. Explore the monastery and after Gue head towards Tabo. The Tabo Monastery is one of the famous monasteries in Spiti Valley. Tabo village is also famous for its caves (Tabo caves) which can be seen from the village. These caves are used by the monks for meditation and other purposes. Drive further to Kaza , check in the stay , dinner & overnight at Kaza.

Tabo - Kaza

Our first destination on day will be the Dhankar (sometimes spelled as Dankhar or Dhangkar) monastery. It is a 900-year-old monastery built on a valley spur. The word literally translates to Fort (Kar) built on a mountain (Dhang). A 23km long drive on NH505 will take us to a point from where we take a right turn and continue the drive on a serpentine road connecting road (Sichling-Dhankhar Gompa). The Dhankar monastery offers vantage views of the valley and the confluence of the Pin and Spiti Rivers. After spending some time at the monastery, we descend down to reach NH505, take a left turn, and continue driving on the highway. At Attargo, we drive over the Attargo bridge and start our road journey into the Pin valley. Instagrammable places in Pin valley Kungri monastery Sagnam village Mud village (the last village of the Pin valley). Pin river terraces. By the evening, we head back to Attargo and reach Kaza β€” the administrative center of Spiti valley. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kaza.

Kaza – Langza – Hikkim – Komik – – Kaza

Wake up in the magnificent Pin valley and after breakfast head towards Kaza and then further to explore the nearby villages of Langza (The fossil village), Komic, Hikkim & Key monastery. Each of these villages are famous for special reasons. Hikkim claim to have the worlds highest post office. Komic is the worlds highest village to be connected with a motorable road. While Langza is known as the Fossil village of India due to the abundance of marine fossils found here. After sightseeing, head towards Kaza, will cover key monastery and chicham bridge. for the evening stay.

Kaza: Kaza – Kye Monastery – Kibber.

After breakfast at the hotel in Kaza, you can explore the Kaza market in the morning then head towards the Key Monastery for sightseeing. After Key monastery, head towards the Kibber village famous for it’s wildlife sightseeing during winters. Enjoy your day in and around Kibber village and it the eveningcome back to the hotel for dinner and a soothing night stay. Tip: It is located on the periphery of the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. So, you can visit the sanctuary if time permits (charges extra)

Kaza - Chandar Taal

Today after breakfast head towards the famous Chandratal Lake and visit the Chicham Bridge on the way just 5 kms from Kibber. The Chicham Bridge is one of the highest (Altitude) bridges in Asia and is situated 5 kms ahead of Kibber village. Chandra Tal lake is situated at a distance of 85-90 km from Kaza and is said to be the source of the Chandra river. On the way, you’ll cross the famous Kunzum Pass. Spend some time near the Kunzum Mata Temple situated on the top of the pass and head towards Chandratal Lake. Enjoy some quality time near the lake. Camping is not allowed near the lake so the overnight stay would be 2 kms below the lake at our Campsite.

Chandertaal To Keylong

Post breakfast at Chandratal lake camp we will then drive back to Manali. The journey covers the crossing through Kunzum pass (4,558 meters/ 14,950ft.) , Via Sissu , later drive to keylong , Tandi . (if time permits can visit Sissu waterfall by next morning ) . Check in The hotel, dinner & overnight stay at hotel .

  • Less than 15 Days / No Show – 100% of the Package cost.

Flight Cancellation Charges

  • Individual Airline's and respective tickets have Cancellation Policy printed. Respective Cancellation Policy will be applicable in every case.

  • Hotel bookings are done with your Name. Sometimes agency names may differ.
  • Carry medicines with you as you will be travelling long distances in a single travel.
  • If required, lunch and dinner restaurants can be advised accordingly.
  • Make sure you are aware about the prices of the services that you are using. As few hotels charge heavily for their services. Just bargain for things before even using them.
  • If you are reaching late in the evening, please call the hotel. Sometime hotels release the booking if they are not informed about your delay.

  • At the beach, parents are requested to keep an eye on their kids at all times.
  • Enjoy the wilderness. Leave only footprints and take only photographs.
  • Do not enter into restricted/tribal areas.
  • While inside Tribal Reserve areas, do not take video, film or photographs of tribals.
  • Do not light fire in forest areas##Do not stay on the beaches or forest during nights by putting up down tents/hammocks.
  • Nudity on beaches and public places is forbidden and punishable offense.
  • Do not enter the National Parks without permission.
