After landing in Kochi, meet our representative at the airport or railway station. Start your drive to Athirapally Waterfalls, which is approximately 70 km from Kochi and takes around 1.5–2 hours by road.

 

Athirapally sightseeing:

• Athirapally Waterfalls – Known as the “Niagara of Kerala,” spend about 1–1.5 hours enjoying the top and bottom viewpoints. Entry fee: INR 40/adult, INR 10/child, INR 150/foreigner.
• Thumboormuzhi Hanging Bridge – Pedestrian bridge over the Chalakudy River. Entry fee: INR 40/adult, INR 10/child.
• Charpa Waterfalls – Small cascading falls ideal for photography.
• Vazhachal Falls – Scenic waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.

 

After sightseeing, continue your journey to Munnar, which is approximately 130 km from Athirapally and takes around 4 hours by road.

 

Munnar sightseeing (on arrival or en route):

• Valara Waterfalls – Cascading falls surrounded by dense forests.
• Cheyyappara Waterfalls – Seven-step waterfall offering great photo opportunities.

 

Check in at your hotel in Munnar. The rest of the day is free for leisure – stroll through local markets or relax and enjoy the beauty of the hill station.

After breakfast at the hotel, head out for sightseeing in and around Munnar. Complete any remaining sights from the previous day before starting new activities.

 

Munnar Extended Sightseeing:

• Eravikulam National Park – Famous for Nilgiri Tahr and scenic landscapes, ideal for photography.
• Spice Garden – Explore local spices and plantations.
• Rajamalai (Eravikulam Hills) – Panoramic views and trekking opportunities.

 

Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

After breakfast at 9 AM, depart for Alleppey after enjoying the misty mountains.. The distance from Munnar to Alleppey is approximately 160 km, and it takes around 5 hours by road. You should reach Alleppey by 2:00 PM.

 

Check in at the Houseboat and start your cruise through the scenic backwaters of Alleppey. Relax on the luxurious houseboat while cruising past village sides and paddy fields, witnessing authentic Kerala village life. The houseboat is fully furnished with bedrooms, a private balcony, and a kitchen, and includes a chef, oarsmen, and a cabin assistant.

 

Important Pointers for Houseboat Stay:

• From 5:30 PM to 8:00 AM the next day, the boat will be anchored and idle on the lake due to fishing activities by local villagers (as per government rules).
• Deluxe Houseboat: AC operational in bedroom only from 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
• Premium Houseboat: AC runs 24/7, but only one AC can operate at a time (either deck or bedroom).
• AC takes 30 minutes to 1 hour to cool the room since it runs on a diesel engine.
• Enjoy a unique and exclusive experience cruising the rich Alleppey backwaters.

Check out from the hotel and post breakfast, we would head to Kovalam. Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort. With high rocks and calm blue water bays, it is a true paradise for tourists. It has various beaches. A few important beaches are Samundra Beach, Hawa Beach, and Light House Beach. Starts @varkala After breakfast proceed to Varkala day trip 60kms from Kovalam. Varkala is an ideal place to relax…or one can say, it is meant only for relaxing! After breakfast at 9:00 AM, check out from the hotel. We would travel to Kanyakumari. It would take around 3-4 hours. On arrival check in at the hotel. After lunch at 3:00PM, we would head for Kanyakumari Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathi Amman Temple (INR 0 – Max 40 Minutes required), Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari Sunset View Point (No Entry Fee, Reach here before 6:00 PM.) Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Thiruvalluvar Statue: It’s located on a small island and hence comes with the backdrop of the Indian ocean which adds to its calm and peaceful vibe. View early morning Sunrise in the Seashore on your own. Check out and visit Tiruchendur enroute. Depart to Rameswaram. Check in Hotel Arrive Rameswaram and check in hotel.
