Munnar - Thekkady - Kovalam - Varkala - Alleppey - Kochi

Check out from your hotel in Kochi head to Munnar — a charming hill station known for its tea plantations, misty hills, and lush valleys.

 

After sightseeing, begin your drive to Munnar. Munnar is approximately 130 km from Kochi, and it would take around 4 hours by road.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Munnar. Complete any remaining sightseeing if not already done. Depart for Thekkady. Munnar is approximately 90 km away from Thekkady, and it would take around 3–4 hours by road.

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast Enroute Kanyakumari. A long list of the major attractions of the state of Tamil Nadu are sheltered in Kanyakumari. The important tourist spots of this place include religious sites like Thanumalayan Temple, Kumari Amman Temple, and Lord Subramanya Temple; historical spots like Vattakottai Fort, Padmanabhapuram Palace, and Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Return back to kovalam.

Head to Varkala from Kovalam, Varkala Tour

Starts @ alleppey After breakfast proceed to Alleppey. 120kms from Varkala Alappuzha is the Venice of the East; It is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. Entertainment facilities at the Vijaya Beach Park add to the attraction of the beach. There is also an old lighthouse nearby which is greatly fascinating to visitors. Evening leisure at backwater resort. Overnight stay at Alleppey. Few Important Pointers: A. From 05.30 pm to 08.00 am next day - Boat will Anchored & it will be idle in the lake. (As per GOVT. Rule- Village people need to put nets in the lake for fishing). B. Deluxe Houseboat: AC Operational Timings are 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM In Bedroom Only. C. Premium Houseboat: AC Runs 24*7. However at a given point in time, only One AC is operational (At Either Deck or Bedroom). D. AC runs on a diesel engine, so it takes 30 mins - 1 hour to cool the room.

Fort Kochi is steeped in the history and culture of all who have occupied it through the ages. Its roots and essence are unique in its diversity. Dutch Palace, Dutch Cemetery, St. Francis Church, Jewish synagogue, and Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica.

Post breakfast, check out from the Hotel. Travel to Kochi. Later based on your departure timing, vehicle shall drop you at the respective destination.
