Pick up at Kochi Airport, and Relax at Hotel

Our driver-cum-representative will pick you up from Kochi Airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Settle in and enjoy a comfortable stay at the hotel after your journey.

Fort Kochi Sightseeing

After breakfast at 9 AM, head out to Fort Kochi to explore its iconic sights.

 

Sights to visit in Fort Kochi:

  • Fort Kochi Beach – Free entry
  • Chinese Fishing Nets – Approx. 30 minutes, Free entry
  • St. Francis Church – Approx. 30 minutes, Free entry
  • Indo-Portuguese Museum – INR 50 per couple (closed on Mondays)
  • Mattancherry Palace / Dutch Palace – INR 50 per couple (closed on Fridays)
  • Jewish Synagogue – Free entry (closed on Friday and Saturday)
  • Jew Street – Popular street for shopping, Free entry

 

Optional experiences:

  • Sunset Cruise on the Kochi Backwaters – Experience scenic sunset views (cost varies, approx. INR 800–1,500 per person)
  • Cultural Center Show – Traditional Kerala dance performances (Approx. INR 1,000 per couple)

 

It usually takes around 4–5 hours to cover the Fort Kochi monuments. The optional sunset cruise and cultural show can be enjoyed later in the day before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Kochi → Kumarakom

Head to Kumaramkom Post Kochi Sightseeings

Drive to Kumarakom it is Approximately 70 km from Kochi, around 2 hours by road.

 

Kumarakom Sightseeing / Activities:

  • Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary – home to migratory birds, ideal for nature photography
  • Vembanad Lake – enjoy a boat ride or simply relax by the lake
  • Local village walks to experience Kerala backwater life
  • Coconut and spice farms nearby

 

Important Notes:

  • If you have any pending sightseeing in Kochi (Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, Chinese Fishing Nets, etc.), complete it before leaving.
  • Carry light clothing, sunscreen, and water for sightseeing and backwater activities.
  • Evening can be spent relaxing at the hotel or taking a short boat ride on Vembanad Lake

Kumarakom → Thekkady

Head to Thekkady Post Kumarakom Sightseeings

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kumarakom. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Kumarakom is completed, as no sights will be revisited.

 

After completing sightseeing, begin your journey towards Thekkady. The distance between Kumarakom and Thekkady is approximately 125 km, and it would take around 4 to 5 hours to reach by road.

 

Sightseeing in Thekkady:

  • Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – Famous tiger reserve known for elephants, birdlife, and forest biodiversity.
  • Periyar Lake Boat Safari – Boat ride offering chances to spot wildlife along the lake banks (subject to ticket availability).
  • Spice Plantation Visit – Guided walk through cardamom, pepper, clove, and cinnamon plantations.
  • Elephant Junction (Optional) – Interact with elephants through bathing and short rides (subject to ethical guidelines).
  • Thekkady Town / Kumily Market – Local market for spices, handmade chocolates, and souvenirs.
  • Cultural Show (Optional) – Kathakali or Kalaripayattu martial arts performance in the evening.

 

Return to your hotel in Thekkady for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, set out to explore the scenic beauty and wildlife of Thekkady, one of Kerala’s most captivating destinations known for its dense forests, spice plantations, and adventurous experiences.

You can enjoy the following sightseeing points and activities during your stay in Thekkady:

  • Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary & Lake Boating – Enjoy a serene boat ride on Periyar Lake and spot elephants, deer, and other wildlife along the banks.
  • Spice Plantation Visit – Learn about the cultivation of Kerala’s famous spices such as cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon.
  • Elephant Junction – Interact with elephants, enjoy elephant rides, feeding, or bathing experiences (optional).
  • Kadathanadan Kalari & Kathakali Centre – Watch traditional Kerala martial arts (Kalaripayattu) and classical dance performances (tickets extra).

Travel to Munnar from Thekkady

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Thekkady. Before departure, complete any remaining sightseeing you may have missed.

 

Start your drive to Munnar, which is approximately 110 km away and takes around 4–5 hours by road.

 

En route, you can visit the following authentic attractions:

  • Cheeyappara Waterfalls – A seven-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush greenery
  • Valara Waterfalls – Scenic cascade ideal for photography
  • Tea Plantations near Munnar – Stop briefly to admire the rolling hills and lush estates

 

Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free for leisure — you may stroll through the local markets or enjoy the hotel facilities.

After breakfast at Munnar hotel, we would start the sights of Munnar.

 

Munnar Sightseeing (You can spread these sights over your stay depending available time. No sights will be visited twice):

  • Mattupetty Dam – Popular for boating and panoramic views of the hills.

Varkala → Kochi

Drop at Trivandrum/Kochi Airport

Post breakfast, check out from the Hotel. You can visit Padmanabham Temple depending on available time. (If Dropping to Trivendram) Else otherwise vehicle will head to Kochi. Based on the time available, we will drop you to the Kochi Airport/ Railway Station. Later based on your departure timing, vehicle shall drop you at the respective destination.
