Amritsar to Local sight and Wagah Border

On Arrival at Amritsar visit the Golden Temple and later visit the massacre of Jalian Wallan Bagh, Lawrence street , Amritsar Market . Afternoon little free time to rest and evening around 3 PM drive to Wagah Border to see the Closing Ceremony, event starts exactly by 5.30 PM everyday. Border closing 'lowering of the flags' ceremony is a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan.This ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagah border, which as part of the Grand Trunk Road was the only road link between these two countries before the opening of the Aman Setu in Kashmir in 1999. The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the sides and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the two nations flags, it is called the beating retreat border ceremony on the international level. One infantryman (Jawan) stands at attention on each side of the gate. As the sun sets, the iron gate at the border is opened and the flags are lowered. The flags are folded and the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers from either side. Return back to Hotel .dinner & overnight stay .

On the way we will visit Kala top(trekking point), . later drive to khajjiar You can spend 3/4 hours at Khajjiar, enjoy various activity like zorbing , horse riding snow activities if snow available . enjoy your lunch (at your own cost) and later visit Dainkund Peak, Bakrota hills view, Beezes park.Panjpulla waterfalls drop to hotel . dinner & overnight stay .

Dalhousie To Dharamshala via Mclodganj Sightseeing

After checking out from your hotel in Dalhousie in the morning, ensure any remaining quick sights in Dalhousie are completed before setting off.   • Tsuglagkhang Complex (Dalai Lama Temple),Bhagsunath Temple & Waterfall:,St. John in the Wilderness Church, Tibetan Market. Mcleodganj is often considered Upper Dharamshala, and the journey from Mcleodganj to Lower Dharamshala is a mere 5-10 km, taking approximately 20-30 minutes.

Upon reaching Dharamshala, settle into your accommodation and, depending on the remaining time, consider visiting:

  • War Memorial: A tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Indo-Pak wars, set amidst beautiful gardens.
