Kochi 1N - Munnar 1N - Thekkady 1N - Varkala 2N

Our driver-cum-representative will pick you up from Kochi Airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Settle in and enjoy a comfortable stay at the hotel after your journey.

We will head to Athirapilly first to enjoy the Asia's largest waterfall. Later after spending a few hours at the water fall, we will set out for a journey to Munnar, a place known for its tea plantations, rolling hills, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys. On your way to Munnar, visit the cascading Valara, and Cheyyappara waterfalls and capture some beautiful moments there. Later check in to the hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stroll around the markets or visit nearby places to witness the beauty of this place.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Munnar. Complete any remaining sightseeing if not already done. Depart for Thekkady. Munnar is approximately 90 km away from Thekkady, and it would take around 3–4 hours by road.

• Spice plantations – Explore Kerala’s aromatic spice gardens and learn about cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and more.

 

Upon arrival in Thekkady, check in to your hotel and rest briefly. Later, enjoy the following sightseeing and activities in Thekkady:

• Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary / Periyar National Park – Jungle safari or boat cruise on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, bison, and other wildlife.
• Periyar Lake Boat Cruise – Scenic boat ride inside the sanctuary, spotting animals and birds along the lake.
• Spice Garden Tour – Explore local spice gardens to see cultivation and processing.
• Elephant Rides – Optional elephant-back ride through forest trails.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Thekkady and begin your journey towards Alleppey, famous for its serene backwaters and traditional houseboats. Alleppey is approximately 140 km from Thekkady, and it would take around 4–4.5 hours to reach by road.

• Backwater Cruise (optional) – Experience a traditional Kerala houseboat cruise through the scenic backwaters.

 

After completing sightseeing in Alleppey, continue your drive towards Jatayu Earth Center in Chadayamangalam, a one-of-its-kind attraction blending mythology, art, and adventure. Jatayu Earth Center is approximately 90 km from Alleppey, and it would take around 2.5–3 hours to reach by road.

• Jatayu Sculpture – The world’s largest bird sculpture depicting the mythical eagle Jatayu from the Ramayana.
• Cable Car Ride – Take a scenic cable car ride to the top of the hill for stunning aerial views.

• Jatayu Museum & 6D Theatre – Learn about the legend of Jatayu through interactive storytelling and exhibits.

 

After sightseeing at Jatayu Earth Center, proceed to Varkala, a coastal cliff town known for its relaxed beach vibe and spiritual aura. Varkala is approximately 40 km from Jatayu Earth Center, and it would take around 1–1.5 hours to reach.

• Varkala Cliff & Papanasam Beach – Iconic cliffside beach offering beautiful sunsets and beach cafés.
• Janardanaswamy Temple – Ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, located close to the cliff.
• Sivagiri Mutt – Pilgrimage center founded by social reformer Sree Narayana Guru.
• Varkala Helipad Point – Popular sunset viewpoint overlooking the Arabian Sea.

 

Later, check in to your hotel in Varkala. The rest of the evening is free for leisure — relax by the beach, explore local shops, or unwind at a seaside café.

After breakfast proceed for Varkala siteseeing.Major side seings are: visit to Sivagiri, Janardhana Swamy Temple, Vishnu Temples,the Papasnanam Beach, Kappil Lake.

Post breakfast, check out from the Hotel. You can visit Padmanabham Temple depending on available time. (If Dropping to Trivendram) Else otherwise vehicle will head to Kochi. Based on the time available, we will drop you to the Kochi Airport/ Railway Station. Later based on your departure timing, vehicle shall drop you at the respective destination.
